Benefits of being a non-grower member of the HDC

The HDC Serves the commercial horticultural industry in England, Scotland and Wales and funds high quality, essential applied research, development and technology transfer. As a non-grower member, you are demonstrating support to the horticulture industry and have access to the latest results from the research and communications programmes.

 You will be part of an organisation commissioning high quality research and development and have: 

 

  • Access to research reports or summaries relevant to your business
  • Ten copies each year of the magazine HDC News
  • Notification of HDC-funded approvals for pesticides under the Specific Off-Label Approval scheme
  • Weekly email service highlighting new research, development and communications activities and initiatives
  • Access to publications including factsheets, grower guides, pest and disease identification cards, DVD based training packages and computer models 
  • Invitations to events, conferences, seminars, open days, workshops and grower walks
