Over the last two years HDC has worked with the dunnhumby Academy of Consumer Research at Kent Business School to obtain access to market information service for crop associations in horticulture through sponsorship of PhD student. The Academy has now been merged with another consumer research group at KBS to create the Centre for Value Chain Research (VCR). The centre focuses on the value chain and the consumer and provides marketing support and training to UK Farmers and Small Food Producers.
