Help us steer the future of horticultural R&D by representing your industry on the HDC board
The Horticultural Development Company, a sector company of the Agriculture and Horticulture Development Board, is seeking three new HDC board members.
The board sets the overall aims, strategy and direction, approves and monitors operating plans and budgets and approves all R&D project funding. Most projects for funding have been shaped and recommended by the relevant crop sector panel although projects which are broadly relevant across the industry are developed directly by the board. The board generally meets four times a year with occasional additional meetings to deal with important matters.
We are seeking new board members with an interest in and knowledge of:
- Protected ornamentals production (one member)
- Protected edibles production (one member)
- Field vegetable crop production (one member)
